NOT A DIARY.  Review business writing tips!  First person is acceptable; but professional business writing is a must).  You may include copies of self-assessment results (not in the page count).  This document is for YOU and can serve as a reference point!  When I set forth on my own professional plan this summer by reviewing each of these assessments, I found them useful to shape my own professional goals for the next year as well as a few longer term projects.  I still have my first self-assessment that I created when I was in your shoes!  It is amazing to me how it has served as a guide and also as a reflective aspect to changes in my motivations and goals for work.  

I encourage the use of Excel to develop SMART goals (3 to 5 years) and I hope that you will find great value in this exercise!

please add reflections about your professional development from other readings (such as takeaways from our Your Choice Book discussion) or blogs or podcasts that you are subscribed.  I am also open to the idea of the 360 degree feedback concept.  You could incorporate reviews from peers and supervisors in the report.  Since many of you are not working (since taking classes is a full-time job!); this peer review and supervisory feedback is optional.
